Attorney Rodríguez-Maldonado is proficient in the operations of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Since her education at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, she has represented immigrants before local courts, solidifying her career in immigration law. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and authorized to practice in all 50 states and Puerto Rico; additionally, she is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Commission on Immigrants' Rights of the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
Education
She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, holds a master's degree in Finance and International Business from American University (Washington D.C.), and completed supplementary studies at the Ortega y Gasset Foundation in Toledo, Spain. She has completed internships with judges at the Federal Court of Puerto Rico and in the Office of the Honorable Judge Torruella of the First Circuit. She currently advises and represents clients in cases related to family petitions, complex cases, immigration and family reunification, adjustment of status (Green Card/LPR), K1 visas, consular processes, waivers (waivers), citizenship-naturalization, work permits, consular procedures, naturalization and defense against deportation before the Immigration Court.
